I worked out today and ate pretty well!!!!!
BIG NEWS: I am going back to Weight Watchers (to my home meeting, too!!) on Tuesday. I am equal parts terrified and excited.
Note to self
- It’s okay to eat
- A big breakfast doesn’t mean skipping lunch
- Eating fast food for once won’t kill you
- You didn’t gain 30lbs today
- Dinner is necessary
- Calories aren’t evil; they’re fuel
- Keep breathing no matter what
2 slices of toast & 2 hard boiled eggs, sliced and spread over the top of the toast
1 cup of coffee w/ creamer
1 bottle of evolution fresh super green smoothie (SUPER YUMMY BTW)
1 cup or so of leftover spaghetti with meat sauce
1 cup or so of iceberg lettuce with very runny ranch drizzled over the top
2 cheese sticks
1 cup of pineapple “tidbits”
leftover casserole of some sort & a mountain dew (I was hungry after work and didn’t want to cook so I found some leftovers, okay??!?)
Didn’t get my workout in today, because I got to work (which is 40 minutes away from home) and realized that I forgot to pack my workout gear, and I’m okay with it. I am BEAT after being at work all day. Brandon’s working super late tonight and I open tomorrow, so I’m going to bed pretty soon here.
I think today’s intake was pretty good! All in all, I am happy with it. I’m going to shoot to make tomorrow an even better day! I’m going to workout tomorrow, and pack my lunch again, so that I have lots of yummy food to eat at work!
4/5 days left before my weekend!
Sunday - I am off of work but I have a makeup job from 12-5 and then I’m staying for the event from 5-7, so I’m probably not going to get a workout in. Also, I already know that I am going to be incredibly sore tomorrow, so I will let my body rest!
Monday - I’m off of work and have nothing else planned, so I’ll hit the gym and work my little (big) booty off!
Tuesday - Working the day shift & then going to the gym afterward. I’ll probably just do weights for about 45 minutes before heading home.
Wednesday - Same as Tuesday, but I’m going to see if my body will be okay with cardio (working an 8 hour retail shift is a lot harder than working an 8 hour office shift, ya know). If I’m just not feeling it, I’ll just hit the weights!
Thursday - Working 1-close, so I’m thinking that I will skip my workout today and let my body rest.
Friday - a short closing shift, so I’ll hit the gym and bust out some interval training or something and then head to da mall
Saturday - Same as Friday, except I think I will go to Zumba and then head home to recuperate and get ready before work!
I’m not particularly looking forward to this week. I’m working 5 days in a row (ugh good lord I hate working in general because it kills my feet), but that means that I’ll get to really plan my meals, and therefore my eating SHOULD be on point!
My only goal is going to be sticking to my workout schedule. I never want to workout after I get off, so making sure that I get to the gym after my day shifts is my only real concern.
I haven’t had Taco Bell in over a week
I worked out twice this week, which is two times more than I normally do! I will shoot for three times next week!!!!!!
This week’s plan:
Sunday (today) - nothing. I am doing absolutely nothing today. Enjoying my last day off of work before I go back to work tomorrow.
Monday - working from 2:30-close. I am going to get up and workout tomorrow morning before it gets all hot and sticky outside.
Tuesday - basically the same as Monday, but I work 15 minutes later… so that means 15 extra minutes of exercise, right?
Wednesday - I’m off and Brandon works night shift, so I’ll probably sneak a workout in after dinner or something.
Thursday - Working all day, and then going home for 4th of July festivities. No workout today!
Friday - Workout early in the morning (to beat the heat!), and then working 1-close.
Saturday - I’m off of work, so I think I will go to Zumba in the morning and then hit the weights afterward. :)
I’ve been eating less (hooray for making portion sizes smaller!) and not eating late at night, because I have found that that is when I crave the most junk food. I’ve also been taking a lunch with me to work, which is helpful because then I’m not buying pastries from Starbucks or eating Panera Bread for dinner every night!
My food goals for this week are to really plan my meals, and to ignore the voice in my head that says “go get Taco Bell” after work. I have been eating out a lot, and I feel as if I am slowly turning into a giant Taco Bell burrito—they are obviously my weakness—and therefore I am going to cut back on how often I eat out. In fact, I think I might set a rule for myself that I’m only going to eat out twice a month, for a cheat meal.
My workout goals for this week are to focus on burning as many calories as possible during a workout (read: lifting heavy weights & doing intense cardio), and to really get back onto the weight lifting wagon. Gotta get all that muscle mass back!
Body shaming just makes me so angry and I want to flip a table
also my boyfriend hasn’t had a day off in 2 weeks and I think I’m probably suffering from it more than he is because I just really miss him and seeing him for two hours after he gets home isn’t enough (sounds stupid because some people go months without seeing their significant other but after living with somebody for almost a year, you get kinda get used to seeing them all the time ya know)
I didn’t go to the gym today. I didn’t even take a shower until 4:00 oops
30 minutes on the elliptical.
Also accomplished today: picked up my diploma (YEEHAW I DONE DID GRADUATED), and got coffee. Now I’m getting ready for work!
